New Product - LayFlat Album

These beautiful leather albums are gorgeous! They are printed on a nice thick paper. This is an example of a business album I did for an apartment complex, but these would work great for seniors, family photos, and children. You can even get the front embossed. There are a lot of different options to customize. Prices start at $395, and they are well worth it!

As a "thank you" for everyone that voted for my Hallmark card, I am offering one day of free Thank You Mini Sessions.

Sessions are 20 minutes long and include the following:

20 minutes of custom lifestyle portraiture
handcrafting of 5-10 images in my digital darkroom
proofs viewable in password protected online gallery for 7 days

*Digital images and prints are NOT included, but may be purchased

Sessions will begin at 7am and will end at 8pm
The earliest and latest session times will fill up quickly due to ideal lighting.

You could use your session for maternity, newborn, family photos (good chance to get one done before that senior goes off to college), christmas card photos, pets, children, senior photos . . .

Thank You - I Won - Thank You

I owe a huge "thank you" to everyone that voted and purchased my Hallmark Father's Day card. Specifically my parents, and in-laws, that I think bought out the entire state of Michigan. And everyone at D's Daycare, for voting religiously. After the first week it went on sale, I haven't been able to find it anywhere.

I received a call on Thursday from the staff at Hallmark, congratulating me. My card was chose as the grand prize winner! I am beyond happy. I didn't even think I would be chosen as a finalist, and I was shocked the day my card moved in to first place, and after that, I don't think it moved for the rest of the contest.

Hallmark put together a press release that they have sent to the media, and my work also put together a press release that they sent out. I am guessing it will be in the paper some time next week, if you see it let me know. We don't get any Oakland County papers.

I am setting up a day next week for free mini sessions, on Saturday, and Millpond Park in Fenton. I will be posting a blog in the next few days with the details. Keep your eye out if you are interested.

Dancing with Miss T

I had the opportunity Saturday afternoon to spend some time with my niece while taking her dance photos. Even though she is in to getting her groove on, she was not in to doing it for the photographer the dance company hired. Problem solved. I think I saw some of the best ballet moves I have seen in a long time.

Evening In The Park

For the month of June only, I will be offering a special event, "Evening In The Park".

The cost of the session is $79 and it it will include:

A 45 minute session at a local park from 6:30 - 7:15
Up to two individuals
Unlimited clothing changes
a 5x10 Storyboard mounted on Styrene
